Volunteer Job Descriptions:


  Responsibilities: Chaperone/supervise student activities.
  Wednesday -- 12:30 P.M. - 5 P.M. / 6-8  volunteers needed
  

  Activity Monitor Evening (PDF)
  Wednesday -- 9:00 P.M. - 11P.M. / 18 volunteers needed



  Responsiblities:  set up the Gear/Store table by 9:45am.
  Wednesday -- 9:45 a.m. - 5 P.M. / 2 volunteers needed
   


  Responsibilities: Help Scoop Ice Cream
  Wednesday -- 9:00 P.M. /6 volunteers needed


  Responsibilities: receive & record returning keys.
  Thursday, 12:30 -1:45 P.M.


  Responsibilities: Check each oral presentation
  score sheet and record scores on tally sheet.
  Wednesday --1 P.M. - 6 P.M. / 4 volunteers needed


  Responsibilities: Attend informational training meeting.
  Judge several presentations following the judging guidelines.
  Wednesday -- 9:00 A.M. -  4:30 P.M. / 36  volunteers needed


  Responsibilities: Keep teams orderly while waiting to present.
  Escort teams to the presentation room at scheduled times.
  Wednesday -- 9:00 A.M. - 4:00 P.M. / 7 volunteers needed


  Responsibilities: Take creative pictures throughout the day,
  both candid and posed.
  Provide Closing Program Coordinator with photos.
  Bring your own digital camera.
  Wednesday --10:00 A.M. - all day / 1 volunteer needed
  Thursday -- 7 A.M. - all day / 1 volunteer needed



  Responsibilities: Take creative pictures at the
  photo station during the testing rotation.
  Bring your own digital camera.
  Wednesday -- 12:00 P.M. - 4:00 P.M. / 2 volunteers needed

  -- (one photographer, one assistant)
  Each person needs to register separately

  
  Responsibilities:  Help set up tables.
   Bag and distribute popcorn
   Help with clean-up, including the popcorn machine.

   Wednesday -- 7:30 P.M. - 10:00 P.M. / 2 volunteers needed


  Responsibilities: Help register teams.
  Give out t-shirts, packets, etc.
  Wednesday -- 9:00 A.M. - 5:00 P.M. / 4 volunteers needed


    Responsibilities: Set up snack table in the registration area.
    Keep table filled and monitor it at all times.
    Thursday -- 7:00  A.M. - 1:00 P.M. / 3 volunteers needed

     Responsibilities: Set up snack table at the testing site.
     Keep table filled and monitor it at all times.
     Wednesday --10:00 A.M. - 4:00 P.M. / 1 volunteer needed


     Responsibilities: Move teams of students from
     one station to the next.
     Assit in handing out and collecting exams.
     Thursday 7:00 AM - 1:00 P.M. / 18 volunteers needed


      Responsibilities: Pick up answer sheets from
      each station at end of rotation.
      Bring them to the test-grading site.
      Depending on the location of the event, a

      vehicle may be required.
      Thursday 8:00 A.M. - 1:00 P.M. / 2 volunteers needed


       Responsibilities: Set up folding chairs, tables, and tents.
       Wednesday --10:00 A.M. / 4 volunteers needed


       Responsibilities: Put away folding chairs, tables,
       and tents.
       Thursday  NOON / 4 volunteers needed


        Responsibilities: Know how many teams are participating
        to be sure that the correct number of answer sheets.
        Thursday 8:00 AM - 1:00 PM / 6 volunteers needed

Test Writers (PDF):

        Responsibilities:  Write exam and submit to
        "test writer coordinator " in advance of the event.
        Be present during the event. Set-up your station.
        Thursday 7:00 A.M. - 1:00 P.M.


         Responsibilities: Time and sound horn for
         competition rotation.
         Thursday 7:15 A.M - 1.P.M. / 1 volunteer needed


           Responsibilities: Keep accurate time during
           oral presentations.  Must provide your own
           secondhand watch or other timekeeping device.
           Wednesday 9:00 A.M. - 4:30 P.M. / 7 volunteers needed

            Responsibilities: Keep accurate time during

          Responsibilities: Welcome volunteers
          Distribute t-shirts, name tags, event schedule.
